Rachel Rose – Lafayette Anticipations

In five video installations and a series of sculptures, for her first large-scale exhibition in Paris, Rachel Rose explores our relationship to landscape, storytelling, childhood and spirituality, and through these subjects enquires into how we exist within the world.

Rachel has developed a consistent method of projection and installation to immerse and affect the viewer, thus transforming the whole Fondation Lafayette Anticipations into a physical and psychological experience for the viewer. Often using semi-transparent projection surfaces or projecting through sculptures.

Rachel Rose presents five video installations and a new series of sculptures made from glass and minerals. Through her body of work, the artist explores our relationship to landscape, storytelling, childhood and spirituality, and through these subjects enquires into how we exist within the world.
