Held at the beautiful and unique Jupiter Artland sculpture park for the Edinburgh International Festival 2019; Trisha Brown: In Plain Site reconceived some of the US choreographer’s most striking short dance pieces in dynamic relationships with the iconic landscape of Jupiter Artland’s lakes, woodlands and sculpted landforms.
The exhibition curated footage from Brown’s archive alongside work on paper from her vast collection of notational drawings which developed her ‘pure movement’ language of choreography.
ArtAV provided a range of our CRT monitors with Brightsign media players used for video playback, along with Panasonic and Epson projectors.
The event received widespread praise, receiving 5 star reviews in both The Times and The Scotsman Newspapers.
